My mum is 88 years old and absolutely loves living here. She often says she's "living her best life," which says it all. The staff are genuinely kind, caring and always treat the residents with warmth and respect. It's such a comfort to know she's happy, well cared for and enjoys being part of such a lovely community. Thank you to everyone for making this such a wonderful place for Mum.
I would like to say how amazing the Estia Health Coorparoo team are (was Casa D’Amore). After weeks of searching to transition my beautiful mum from hospital to an Aged Care facility I was greeted on the phone by Saul Fernandez at Estia Health telling me they had a room for mum. Absolutely atrocious communication in getting my Uncle into care there. And a reflection of the many gaps in holding Aged Care providers to account. After an on site visit we applied to the facility. This was prior to Xmas. To get a sense of his position on the waiting list we called around 5 months later to be told he wasn’t on the wait list as he was deemed unsuitable for the facility. Mum and Dad have been at Casa since it opened. We have enjoyed the ups and downs of management, staff changes etc. Whenever things went wrong, management fixed them up again - perhaps not immediately, but they have always got there in the end. Overall, Mum and Dad have enjoyed their time there. Dad recently passed away and I have to commend the staff for his care over his final months. My brother just turned 80 and he is a resident at Casa. He has fairly sever Parkinsons and has had a mild stroke. The facilities are top class and the staff friendly professional and attentive. As much as he would like to still be at home he is very happy with the place
