I have recently moved into Estia Health Burton. I'm happy with the care I receive, the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. The meals are tasty, I enjoy the variety. The morning and afternoon tea cakes are delicious! The admission process with Alexis was easy and I find her very supportive.
There are plenty of amenities and gardens areas for the residents and visitors to enjoy. Activities are provided for the residents to participate in if they choose to. The staff appear friendly and helpful. The home always seems to be clean and fresh. Our family are glad our 96 year old Mum has the care she needs in such nice surroundings.
Putting my father into aged care wasn’t an easy thing to do. After looking at various homes without satisfaction, Estia Health at Burton was our chosen facility. From our initial contact we received nothing but help, respect and care shown for my father and our whole family. Not a good experience with the manager woman. She wouldn't let me take my mother out for a coffee without checking with my little sister who's got POA. And, as I'm not a threat to my mum, this was shocking! After my sister okayd it, this manager woman called my sister and brother in law as I was driving out, and, I don't know what was said, but, I got called by both sister & brother in law?????. Very happy with my time here, and the organisation. I'm very well looked after by the staff, the meals are excellent. The staff are great at their job. My room is spacious and bright.
