I arrived at the Centre this morning with my partner at 10am for a scheduled appointment as a new patient and we waited for about 33 minutes before we decided to leave & try elsewhere. Receptionists were polite but unhelpful and not able to update us on how long our Dr. will take. Patients that arrived later than me were able to see their respective doctors within 5 minutes. I had an appointment today . The girls at the desk are always polite and helpful .The only problem I have is waiting an hour for my appointment. I know how busy everyone is however waiting so long makes me extremely anxious. My Doctor is great and the practice staff are terrific.
Dr.David BOSHER is worth waiting for no matter how long it takes. He’s been my Doctor for 25 odd years and also the rest of my family. Very easy to talk to and nice to look at as well. Receptionists Lana Jane and the others always pleasant and helpful.
I had a great first experience at Elsternwick Medical Centre - both my 11 year old son and I went for checkups as we were experiencing a few worrying symptoms. Dr Farrah (AKA Dr Sue), was welcoming, knowledgeable, and really listened. I’m so glad we found her as our doctor! The reception staff is nice too, and pathology with clean facilities are in the same building. Give them a try, nothing flashy, but a friendly, practical surgery on a handy tram route.
Dr APB is negligent and irresponsible. My unaccompanied 80+ year old relative went to see this doctor only hours after a bad fall which resulted severe facial bruising. This patient has a known history of brain haemorrages. Dr APB did not send her to emergency which is where she is now. She did not check her blood pressure, order a blood test, enquire as to why she may have fell. In fact, she did nothing but hand her a MRI referral marked urgent. The receptionist (J) was so helpful and kind when dealing with my complaint.
