I had an appointment today . The girls at the desk are always polite and helpful .The only problem I have is waiting an hour for my appointment. I know how busy everyone is however waiting so long makes me extremely anxious. My Doctor is great and the practice staff are terrific.
I had a great first experience at Elsternwick Medical Centre - both my 11 year old son and I went for checkups as we were experiencing a few worrying symptoms. Dr Farrah (AKA Dr Sue), was welcoming, knowledgeable, and really listened. I’m so glad we found her as our doctor! The reception staff is nice too, and pathology with clean facilities are in the same building. Give them a try, nothing flashy, but a friendly, practical surgery on a handy tram route.
I called hoping to get in asap - Marina (receptionist) accommodated me straight away. First time attending this clinic I work locally Marina very good / attentive , Dr Irina Khanina to the point quick and easy. Highly recommend - I have passed this onto my colleagues.
I wish I had read reviews prior. The receptionists are lovely - except one woman on the phone ..she rudely asked me why I needed a long appointment. I arrived early - and had to wait over an hour. I suppose everyone books a 10min appointment but does a long appointment anyway. Explains the delays. The doctor opened a previous patients urine sample,which filled the whole consult room with urine smell while I waited. I have been coming here for over 25 years. I've got to say I've seen it all. Good dr's and not so good. Dr bosher is excellent. The reception staff I have personally had no problem with. I've seen so many unhappy people and fights due to either long waiting times or staff or drs having disagreements with patients. I've had to wait two hours when I've had an appointment. And up to 10 hours late a dr calling me for my Telehealth booking. The major problem here is they will get repeated complaints about certain drs but still ke... read more
