My experience at the Corrimal Medical & Dental Centre was very positive. I attended the clinic on Anzac Day because I have a fractured knee and obviously my GP was closed because it was a public holiday and going to the Emergency Room might have taken hours. The receptionist registered me and gave me an appointment without any trouble. I was then able to see a GP and was very happy with the way she saw me quickly and gave me the referral I needed.
Always friendly and helpful at the front desk. Dr.Dorisami is friendly & genuinely caring. Very thorough with her appointments & care plans. Staff in the office to take blood are gentle & funny. Emergency staff are always patient, gentle & professional. The staff in the imaging center are courteous & explain the procedure in simple terms & make sure you understand, then walk you through as they do the necessary steps for imaging & shots. A large spacious well appointed medical centre .Front desk were friendly and welcoming . The appointment was prompt .The doctor was professional measured .The person that took samples was personable and efficient . The results came to my phone via sms quickly . A all-round good experience. Thank you .
I actually really like Corrimal Medical Centre. It's convenient that doctors, nurses, pathology and imaging are all available at the one site. I did wonder if I would be charged for both my initial appointment and to get my results back and yes I was, so the out of pocket cost was about $70. Irony is that I was given the incorrect information when I received my results. Hernia surgery is covered under medicare in Australia. I attended a general practitioner appointment in December with Doctor Farkhanda Qamar. During the consultation, I found her demeanor to be exceedingly rude. She expressed judgment regarding some of my previous personal health choices, which were irrelevant to the purpose of my visit. This made me feel uncomfortable and belittled.
