Community Kids Heathmont is warm and welcoming, and the educators really care. The centre has recently been upgraded, so the rooms look fresh, bright, and well set up. The outdoor yards are a big highlight they’re beautiful, inclusive, and accessible, which has made a huge difference for my child. It’s a space where they can join in, explore, and feel confident.
We've been with the centre for 3 years so far and have had a great experience. We moved across from another centre where my daughter was in their nursery and they couldn't get her to sleep and kept overfeeding her to settle her. As soon as she moved to Community Kids she settled right away and they got her sleeping consistently and she loves going. We get photo updates everyday. Our family has been a part of the wonderful Community kids experience for 2 years now with my son attending from 8 months old. Dedicated staff and management with focus on child development and happiness, always providing a safe and nourishing environment for my son! Excellent communication with daily photos and feedback so I never feel left out of my sons daily experiences. Great cook with healthy variety of home made meals and snacks. I am thankful everyday for the care my sons receives 😊
I would not recommend enrolling infants at this centre. The nursery care was subpar and lacked genuine care. The centre was understaffed, making it difficult to provide adequate attention to the children. When I dropped off my child, they put her to sleep within 30 minutes, despite my specific instructions to take her outside to play and help her feel comfortable. My son has been attending Community Kids Heathmont for two years. He is always so excited to go every morning to see his friends and his educators. The team at the centre are really wonderful - they are always so welcoming to my son every time he arrives, with a smile and a big hello, greeting him by name. The centre itself is fantastic - he has been in both the pre kinder and kinder rooms, and they are both set up so well to encourage lots of different ways to play.
