We would like to highly recommend Darcy from Coastal Health and Rehab. My young person living with a disability has been working with Darcy for several years and we couldn't be happier with his knowledge, care and willingingness to work with us as our needs and health requirements change. He always goes out of his way to meet our young person where they are on any given day. Thank you for your support and guidence Darcy!
Our 16 year old son, who has physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as Autism, recently dislocated his knee and we have been seeing Darcy to assist with recovery and strengthening. Darcy is incredibly knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He is so good with our son, and has made the process much easier. The gym facilities are fantastic (quality equipment, quiet and friendly). Our son feels very proud of himself after a session with Darcy, and is getting stronger and more confident in his body. Highly recommend!
I honestly can’t recommend Darcy enough. I came in with a pretty sore shoulder from judo (tendon issues with limited movement). From day one, he was super clear, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in getting me back to training safely. I went to see Darcy last Friday because my neck was completely locked and I was in so much pain — it felt like a nerve pain right in the middle of my neck. He saw me straight away and was extremely polite, practical, and focused on finding the root of the pain. The treatment was amazing and worked so well! By Saturday and Sunday, the pain was almost gone. I went back today (Wednesday) just feeling a bit of tension in my shoulders, and he did a bit more dry needling. I highly recommend.
Very impressed with how knowledgeable and positive Darcy was when he helped my daughter manage her injury so she could get back on the hockey field. Although the injury would take time to heal, Darcy knew what would fix the problem and was proactive in getting her back playing the sport she loves. I have been to plenty of Physios over the years, and Darcy would be one of the best.
