I had one of the worst experiences ever with Chromage Air Condition Company. From start to finish, everything was a disaster. The customer service was rude, unprofessional, and completely unresponsive. Calls were ignored, promises were broken, and no one seemed to care once they got the money. The installation was poorly done, rushed, and full of mistakes. Alot of builders install cromagen water heaters as a builders range. In a.space of two years we have had them.come out and fix the tank leaking and the plumber found that the solar wasnt even connected. This was.over a year of moving in and was told we had only one year warranty and was out of it. Fast forward to this week. We were getting cold water showers and tried calling them and nobody would answer the phone. In the end had a different companies plumber come out and was told to get rid of the junk. Chromagen has saved us a lot on gas bill with their heat pump hot water system! The process was fast once we got solar energy proposal approved. The down side of it, it’s a bit noisy but I still recommend with 5 stars. The hot water comes quick and save us a lot since June 2025. Good products deserve recommendations!

Poor customer service - didn’t receive a response on multiple occasions. Reached out to the team regarding connecting my solar and provided my electricity provider, and was advice that the connection will be actioned by them. Followed up twice but did not receive a response if the connection had been actioned . Would have scored this higher if it wasn't for the fact that we had to dispose of all the rubbish, and there was a lot! We have no complaints with Chromagen itself however, we can't say the same for the installers. The installation itself went smoothly except for a few points. 1) Had to pay extra to mount the fan unit on the wall, which should have been mentioned in the original quote. 2) They filled our recycle bin with nonrecylable rubbish. 3) They took the recyclable components of the old water heater while insisting that... read more
