Electrify sold me one Chromagen’s heat pumps. My application for a solar rebate was approved and all was paid for. They decided that the delivery would be too difficult and without contacting me cancelled the order and refunded my money. I contacted Chromagen directly and they assured me that they would be able to supply me with a heat pump and sent through a quote. I rang last week to see how it was going and discovered that they had also canceled my order without telling me.
Here's a timeline: Me: "Hello, my Chromagen hot water heater is leaking water. Can you please help?" Chromagen: "Please email a picture of the leak." Me: "You want me to take a picture of the water coming out of the bottom of the unit?" Chromagen: "Yes" Pictures sent. Chromagen: "Is it coming from the drain pipe?" Chromagen Gas hotwater system installed in May 2009 at house, working till today almost 16 years. Very happy customer 😇
I had Chromagen heat pump installed using NSW rebate around 2.5 years back. More recently the compressor broke and I was worried. Quick call to service people and they sent someone to check and replace the unit within a weeks time.
Poor quality product and service. Called to request Cromagen Solar Hot Water unit to be accessed due to no hot water coming out. The first technician came but did not have spare part and have to wait the next day and the 2nd technician came but did not fix the problem and left.
