I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who helped me today at Chatswood Medical & Dental Centre. I had an urgent situation in the morning and was extremely anxious. Unfortunately, the doctor I had originally booked was on sick leave and unable to see me. Maggie at reception was incredibly responsible and proactive — she helped contact a GP and rearrange my appointment promptly, which made me feel reassured and well looked after. I am sorry to say my experience with this centre had been incredibly negative. I made an appointment to see Dr Alan Lee for a blood test. During my session, Dr Lee was literally chewing gum non stop and only looked at the screen while conducting his interview. I wondered if he could see himself through my eyes and see how disrespectful and arrogant he presented. I had to come back for my result so booked Dr Cindy Pan to get my result to avoid this doctor. It's a Saturday, going to the doctors and Doctor wasn't even at the clinic at 12:10pm when I made the appointment for. Not only I had waited for 50 minutes for a GP Consult which I obviously didn't attend having to wait for the Doctor. Rescheduled for another day with a different doctor. The doctor's name is Liyana. Extremely bad and unlawful response to my online message requesting info about pathology billing, getting a copy of my results and getting a referral letter for a bone density test. They did answer my questions about where and when I can get blood samples taken. But then they ignored my 3 very important questions noted above. I am absolutely shocked by the level of arrogance and unprofessionalism displayed by Dr. XiaoXian Pan. She violated the basic trust between doctor and patient by making a snap judgment about my honesty the moment I walked in. Telling a patient "you can only get a certificate when you are sick" before hearing their history is condescending and implies the patient is a liar.
