This medical center only gives patients about 10 minutes to explain their health situation. I wasn’t even able to finish describing my symptoms before the doctor said the time was up. My concerns were not fully heard and no proper medical advice was given. It takes me about 30 minutes each way to travel here. After waiting another 30 minutes, I was very disappointed to receive only a rushed 10-minute consultation. May Ling is such a wonderful doctor. She was especially kind to my late fiancé, he could count on her no matter what for his weekly lorazepam and endone scripts. She was his loyal family doctor for six years, I believe, maybe more. If he ever forgot his medication, she would go above and beyond every time to ensure he didn't go untreated. She was so upset when he passed away, she took two whole weeks off. That's the kind of dedication we need to see more of in our community. I hope May Ling knows just how grateful we are.
I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who helped me today at Chatswood Medical & Dental Centre. I had an urgent situation in the morning and was extremely anxious. Unfortunately, the doctor I had originally booked was on sick leave and unable to see me. Maggie at reception was incredibly responsible and proactive — she helped contact a GP and rearrange my appointment promptly, which made me feel reassured and well looked after. At Chatswood Hospital, I went to see Dr. Brenner. He is a very good and excellent doctor with a very wide knowledge and is excellent at his job. However, the service he provides for receiving messages is very bad and laughable. I called to make an appointment and was told to wait 20 minutes for admission and time to go to the medical centre and see the doctor. Will travel an hour to see the doctors in the medical centre. Been going there since I was young and even when moving I’ve come back here. They’re so understanding, will always be there to help and actually find out what’s wrong. Today I was 20mins late to my appointment but they worked to fit me into an appointment and were extremely kind and understanding about it. The doctor I visited today was also so so kind and emphatic to my situation.
