My experience with Capital S.M.A.R.T Dandenong has been exceptionally poor, frustrating, and exhausting following a not-at-fault accident in May 2025. The vehicle was only three months old at the time. They eventually fixed my car, which was taken there for an insurance claim. My frustration was that the original timeframe was two weeks, and then it ended up taking four weeks, and alongside that, they didn’t communicate to me that there would be delays. I kept calling to check on the car’s status (because I do sometimes need my car) and they kept saying it’d be the next day, then I’d hear nothing from them the next day. Capital Smart Dandenong repainted my rear bumper 3 times. Each time, there was obvious defects with the work. You would think on the 3rd time they would get it right. Less than two months later, the paint is cracking and lifting. Complaints to the head office go ignored and staff at the branch are dismissive. AAMI will be footing the bill to have it repainted by an independent shop. Don't bother with Capital Smart - you can probably find someone in the Woolies parking lot who can do a better job.
Smooth and easy process from start to finish. Team were kind, polite, clear and consise about everything. My car was repaired and ready for me to collect in under 3 working days. The team were very welcoming and made me feel at ease with their genuine care and positive attitudes towards customer satisfaction. Great job team.
