Very happy that I could get a same day appointment and that the phone was answered promptly and by a human! I didn't need an app to make the appointment. Was seen by a lovely doctor and the blood tests prescribed could be done right there, which is super convenient. Bulk billing is a bonus. The insufficiency of parking bays is the only downside. I'm happy with everything 😌
They've got some great doctors but the administration side of the business has some very strange rules. Why do patients need to show their Medicare card every single time they see a doctor and if you've left your Medicare card at home you can't get in to see the same doctor you've been seeing for years. Today I was about 30 minutes early due to a previous appointment finishing early and was told by the receptionist that I could not check in because I was too early! These seem like very odd rules.
I had appointment at 1:40 but they made us wait until 2:20 still its not our turn. when we ask the reception, the straight answer was we cant be sure how long you need to wait since there are few more patients before you!”- so unprofessional! at least inform the waiting patients that you are running late, so that we can also plan for our schedule. If you're expecting kindness, empathy, and compassion while you're vulnerable due to illness, please do not book an appointment with Dr. Amina Khalid. I paid for a standard consultation, expecting to be seen for at least 10 minutes, but I only got a two-minute chat that was interrupted by phone calls. Her facial expressions were not welcoming at all, and she barely looked at me. I have been attending this medical centre for months now. Every appointment the doctors are running late. Every single time I'm having to wait over an hour, sometimes two hours for my booked appointment. The reception never tells you the doctors are running late and I’ve never received an apology from my doctor for being behind either. This is just not good enough.
