I have been to the Brew for the first time. And my personal experience is a mixed bag. We ordered two breakfast items with coffee. Now the coffee was excellent 👌 loved it. One of the poached egg was slightly overcooked (yolk wasn't runny) for my liking. The food was well presented and tasted as it should. The bill was a little over $60. If you didn’t know it was there you’d walk right past Brew Cafe & Wine Bar! I know I have for the many trips I’ve made to Brisbane over the last few years. We ventured down into the old car park and refuse area on Lower Burnett Lane in search of coffee and breakfast. What a great little cafe hidden down a laneway!! Giving great Melbourne vibes. So much character, the staff all happy and friendly and service was quick. Most of all the food was delicious we will definitely be back!
Doesn't look like much and easy to walk passed as you head to the Mall. This isn't Melbourne. People of Brisbane are not used to city lanes leading to anything special. Brew is understanded and cool because of it. Open for breakfast onwards, there is a welcoming vibe and relaxed crew staffing the joint. Highly recommended
Very cool with street art in the entrance & great mood lighting / design inside. As for the $1 wings - Superb value for money (drum & wing), the flavours are tasteful. My recommendations is to order no more than 5 at a time unless you want them to go cold & pair the BBQ with chipotle mayo, buffalo on its own (flavourful but mild) & the hot and spicy with aioli. My Overall rating is 8/10
