The empanadas we had were absolutely delicious! The flaky crust and flavorful filling were a perfect combination. And the servers were so friendly and helpful, they convinced us to try the promotional ice tea, which was surprisingly refreshing. If you’re seriously craving something delicious, the batch cookie bar x lunar pies is a must-try!
Haven’t tried the cookies but the empanadas are awesome. The classic Filipino pork was my favourite with a sweet and savoury filling of olives, meat and raisins but the Jamaican beef was also great, as was the chimmichurri. Loved that these were baked and not fried with a tender, not too greasy pastry dough. Good value for the price, too.
Amazing customer service and delicious cookie!! Stumbled upon this place in uptown. Cookie was so fresh and soft! Perfect place for a sweet treat and the worker there told me they’re at local markets! Definitely recommend
bought a 6-pack of their empanadas at the wednesdays market in brisbane city, unfortunately they were sold out of the spinach one so got 2x of the bbq chicken and then each of the rest. their empanadas are so good! my favorite was the chicken mushroom, even if you don’t like mushrooms you’ll like this one! so creamy and tasteful. they are so soft in the middle and crunchy at the end. they also give you in these super cute and bougie boxes! i’m in love and will def be back! the woman working there 21.08 was also the super cut... read more
The coffee here is excellent! The staff are so lovely, always smiling and go above and beyond just making your coffee. Shout out to Carolina! The lemon drizzle sample I had with my coffee today was so delicious - I must come back to buy it when they make it next. My favourite empanada is the creamy chicken Camembert and mushroom, or the spinach tomato cheese one. They also have delicious jalapeño salsa which pairs well with them. Super flavourful and the perfect breakfast.
