Since moving into The Parks Retirement Village, I have, for the first time in 6 years, felt absolute safety being in my unit, especially at nighttime. I don't even feel the necessity to lock my front door (although I do) from force of habit. Everyone is very friendly & some even stop for a chat if I happen to be out front when they're passing by. Another excellent cafe/bar that offers a relaxing atmosphere and a great choice of food including pizzas also very nice and friendly service
It is an extremely well run Lifestyle Village. Has a pool Snooker Table Happy Hour every Friday except the 4GH Friday when there is a community dinner. There is a bus that's takes residents shopping on Thursday. There are also local outings in the bus and sometimes further. There is also a 4 rink Bowling Green and there is a 2 rink for Indoor Bowls on Fridays. Bingo is played Wednesdays.
I visit a lady each fortnight to clean and its a great place for elderly or not so elderly. The gardens are well maintained and I love looking at the plants and flowers outside the residences.
A little tired looking in places but everybody seems to love living here.
