I enjoy Springthorpe Retirement Village because most of the residents are lovely and friendly. I feel respected and appreciated when helping others. We have lots of nice activities and Happy Hour is fun. We are currently adding some nice touches to the village by upgrading the community centre and croquet area to include bowls & putting. When I arrived to visit the Village 11 years ago I was impressed by the beautiful gardens and easy access to trains and buses. The Manager at the time was professional and seemed to have a genuine care for residents. The atmosphere was welcoming and homely. There is a family type atmosphere here with residents looking out for each other without being intrusive. My husband and I are very comfortable in our spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom unit which also has a large paved, undercover outdoor area. The Village grounds are attractive and well cared for by our two hardworking gardeners. Springthorpe is a friendly community with an excellent manager.
We have been totally satisfied living at the village. Made very good friends. Been on various committees and have enjoyed the experience and learnings. The staff have been very supportive with all aspects of life at the village and extremely professional with all the residents concerns including their well-being.
On Behalf of Ron and Nola, We have throughly enjoyed our 18 years at Springthorpe Retirement Village and would highly recommend.
