I downsized from a large 2 storey home that was beyond my ability to maintain, to a lovely 2 bedroom unit at Aveo Bridgeman Downs. I had been looking around for several years, assessing what aspects were most important for me, and in the end, Aveo BD was perfect and ticked all the boxes. I have been living here coming up 5 months now and love it. The place is well managed and everyone is super friendly. There are a variety of ages from late 50s to over 100 years that I've met so far. I'm still very capable of cooking but love the option of having meals here and the food is great. Theres a real family atmosphere about the place.
Absolutely loving the community and the residents who live here. Since moving in I have met many wonderful people and made lots of friends. Best move I have ever made. Staff are brilliant and are always there when I need advice or help.
The new manager, Brendan, is a breath of fresh air into the village and we are glad that we chose to live here. The units and grounds are well maintained and the staff are unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful. The residents and social committees are also very proactive. A great place to be.
The retirement village displays a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the images shown on Google and their website have proved it to be. The new manager, Brendan and his team have made it a livable place for retirees to settle in, while being treated with the utmost care. When I get to my "Golden Years", this is the place I would like to settle in, especially that the location is in QLD, with the warm climate and welcoming atmosphere. This place comes highly recommended!!!
