Taco Tuesday FOR THE WIN! Greeted by outstanding customer service and a smile, fast service, best lemon lime and bitters ever, then the tacos were incredible. The tortilla was so soft, the meats so tasty. Shout out to whoever makes the guacamole for the corn chips as well as that was on point. Nothing is spicy so get a side of hot sauce!
Happy hour (1:30-3:30pm) 50% tacos & margaritas! Where can you get two filling tacos & margarita (had classic with agave) for under $20.... Followed Ellis recommendations...nailed it.
I went with my friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday and don’t regret our decision to go for this place, food was delicious. I’ve tried other Mexican restaurants on the Gold Coast and Alma stands out, although my pulled pork burrito was a little bit dried, it was savoury as well as the chicken quesadillas. Highly recommend this place and its chicken quesadilla.
My experience at ALMA Mexican Restaurant was disappointing in every aspect. The nachos served were cold, the guacamole had a stale taste and a sauce that flooded the plate, making it a culinary disaster. It is unfortunate that the quality of the food and service fell so far below expectations. While I appreciate that I got my money back after pointing out the dissatisfaction, the overall experience was unpleasant and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.
I went to Alma’s at surfers paradise for brunch. I had a flat white, orange juice and smashed avo with poached eggs and bacon. Coffee: best coffee I’ve had in Brisbane and on point *chef’s kiss* Food: love love love! Juice: 👌 Great location, eating breakfast whilst hearing the waves crash with a cool breeze.
