Shane & Karen, and everyone else were absolutely amazing hosts! It felt like we were being welcomed into their own home. The food was incredibly delicious, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in after a fun day at the snow, which was right down the hill (we came at the very end of the season, and unfortunately most of the snow right outside had melted). I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when going to Perisher! Highly recommend! ❤️
Wow what an absolute experience. From the first phone call to Shane when he answered my silly questions to my kids telling Karen they loved her when we left - we have had the best experience ever. The attention to detail by “chef” as the kids called her was brilliant. Julia just had a great big smile on her face the whole time. We have rebooked for next year for longer. The most welcoming and cozy place you could ever go. Shane and all the staff welcomed us with open arms and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast and dinner is 10/10- especially the 3 course dinner meals! The beds are very comfy and very needed after a long day of skiing. We will be back next season!
Peer Gynt is a lovely little lodge that feels like home. Shane the manager, Chris the owner and all the staff are wonderful, so welcoming and polite. The food is brilliant and unique with a great wine list full of different selections to accommodate all. I loved my stay here and will definitely be coming back, also recommending it to my friends. It also has beautiful views of perisher.
