Alex & Co is a nice place to eat right next to the Parramatta River. It has a warm atmosphere and decor. The food tastes great and was beautifully presented. Pizza is excellent. The people who work there are friendly and help you have a good time. The only thing is that the music is really loud, so it’s hard to talk to people without shouting. And the drinks are very expensive.
I’d like to express my gratitude to the whole team of Alex&Co specially to the staff who served us last night May 7, the lady at the front(forgot to get her name) but she was wearing a black polo shirt. they were short staffed but the service was still amazing and the food was good. We also had an amazing drink from their bar and the atmosphere was great during that night. Highly recommended!!!
I recently attended a friend's 40th birthday family dinner at Alex and Co. in Parramatta. We were a group of around 18 people. While some dishes were undeniably delicious, some were just ok. I found it to be on the expensive side. The service was decent, although we felt a bit rushed to order our mains as the kitchen was closing early. Went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered Charcoal Grilled Chicken Salad from their lunch menu, and it took more than 40 minutes for my order to arrive. Even Fish & Chips took a lot of time as well.
Another place where we have been meaning to try and finally did! Went for the express lunch options. The salmon salad was fantastic whilst the fish and chips which I was personally looking forward to try did not tick my box. It was not like the tradtional ‘fish and chips’ as for me, it tasted like fish fingers. A bit overcooked on the outside yet slightly undercooked (even felt a bit cold still) on the inside which almost tasted raw. The service and atmosphere were great.
